Photographer, techartist, student & audiophile
Hi, I am Moritz-Elisabeth. I was born near Vienna in 2006 and I am currently attending the fifth grade at the Gamedesign departement of the HTL Spengergasse, located in Vienna.
Audio and VFX are my favourite aspects of game development. I am currently focusing my attention on advancing my skills in these areas. I discovered my passion for audio while working on The Abyss, an immersive 3d first-person game, and my interest in VFX while creating a tracking shot of an abandoned mine.
The project I'm currently working on the most is this website and the amazing 2.5D puzzle game Cuboid!
I am also interested in PC hardware. I build new gaming PCs and repair, clean, and upgrade old systems and laptops.
Over the past three years, I have developed a keen interest in photography, which has been my hobby for as long as I can remember. I love the freedom photography gives me. Capturing scenes and emotions is a wonderful thing to do.
I am in awe of nature and strive to capture its beauty in all its forms.
An evil geometry wizard has turned you into a cube! To free yourself from his clutches you have to escape from his magical castle. The scatterbrained madman has also put some crumbling puzzle rooms in your way.Solve all puzzles and be free!
The player has to plan his movements carefully to escape the room and adapt said plan to the movement of enemies that try to block their way.
You, a lonely astronaut, have just crashed on an unknown planet.
To survive, one has to explore the unpleasant and dead environment while collecting items to be able to repair your spaceship and finally leave this dead planet where you nearly ended.
The Abyss is made in Unity URP. Audiokinetic Wwise was a great tool to take the game audio to a new level, immersing the player even more. Using Wwise and other applications allowed me to expand my knowledge of industry standards and of course audio.
All visuals, code, the sound design, and most of the audio recordings were created and implemented by myself within the specified work time.
Main menu music kindly provided by Bertl Mütter.

My first project in which I embedded my feelings and really started to think about atmosphere, mood and structure. The following, even larger project was The Abyss, but this tracking shot was the beginning of my interest in techart as general.
My goal was to create a world that is uncomfortable but full of energy, and above all, to try out how I can realize something and, generally, how I can get from my ideas and emotions to something that others can also perceive.
The Abyss is somewhat a sequel to this tracking shot.
